Sgt. Trevor Cook
Sgt. Cook was a decorated Marine.
He was active in sports and other
activities while growing up in
Orleans County. He was killed when
the helicopter he was in crashed
during a training exercise in
California.
Sgt. Mark A. Bradley, 25, passed
away on June 16, 2011 from
injuries sustained in Afghanistan
while serving in the United States
Marine Corp. as a scout sniper.
Spec. Blake Whipple
Spc. Whipple, a combat engineer,
died in the explosion of a
roadside bomb while he was on
patrol in Ghazi Province,
Afghanistan. He was 21.
